The American Songbook in a Modern Context

HOLM / KIEL / HAGELSKJÆR is a jazz trio consisting of tenor saxophonist Christian Holm, double bass player Samuel Kiel, and drummer Gustav Hagelskjær.

With great respect for the jazz tradition, the trio puts the American songbook into a modern context and opens up the potential of the saxophone trio with incredible presence and attentive ensemble playing.

The trio members live in Amsterdam, New York City, and Copenhagen, but when they get together in Aarhus, there is guaranteed to be a real vibe.
